New Life Christian Center is a non‑denominational, Indigenous‑led Christian congregation located on the Akwesasne Mohawk Reservation.
We honor both our faith and our Native identity. Our worship embraces the richness of our culture—sounding the First Nations drums and rattles, remembering our ancestors, and welcoming all who enter through the Eastern Door of this great Nation. At New Life Christian Center, every person is invited to experience a place where Indigenous heritage and Christian faith walk together in unity and reverence.
On December 19, 2025, our church building had suffered water damage from a frozen, burst pipe, causing major flood renovations to take place. Our weekly service is temporarily relocated to the Akwesasne Healing Rooms until the entire flooring is renovated from the flooding. Akwesasne Healing Rooms is located at 647 State Route 37, Akwesasne, NY13655.
Our ministry began in 1997 as a children’s church founded by our late apostles, Willie and Sandy Jock, whose vision continues to guide us today. The late Willie Jock was a member of the Mohawk Nation of the Six Nations Iroquois Confederacy on the Akwesasne Mohawk Reservation. Willie was known for his heart for First Nations and to see life giving healing centers established on all Iroquois territories as well as other First Nations settings. Willie and Sandy were apart of a First Nations Strategic Warfare Team endeavoring to link up with the church at large to accomplish healing through the power of forgiveness.
Randy Jock gave his life to Christ in the spring of 1985. He married Denise Thompson in 1974, and together they raised two children, Raymond and Yvonne. God has richly blessed their family with seven grandchildren. Since the founding of New Life Christian Center in 1995, Randy has faithfully served in many humble roles within the church body. After 21 years of service, he retired from the Tribal Gaming Commission in 2020, following the Covid pandemic.
